Ensorfest ’25
Join us for a great day of fun, history, and entertainment at Ensor Park & Museum – Ensorfest ’25!!
May 10, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. This community event is FREE and open to the public! (Donations are welcome! Bring blankets and lawn chairs for the performances.)
What’s happening at Ensorfest ’25:
Explore the vintage 1890 farmhouse, where the Ensors’ legacy comes alive. From antique furniture to radio transmitters, every corner tells a story!
Quilt display presented by the Olathe Quilters Guild.
Check out a variety of antique model A’s, Corvettes, Cadillacs, and other classic vehicles on display.
Listen to the Chautauqua orators edify us about local history.
Work up an appetite playing disk golf on the 2-hole Maverick Disk Golf course.
Enjoy some great BBQ from the Smokey Hill BBQ Food Truck.
See a movie: “Renaissance Man of Olathe”
Live Music Throughout the Event:
The Rich O’Brien / David Hynes Project (Jam band duo) performs from 12:15 to 1 PM.
Featuring live bluegrass music from the Pheasant Pluckers: (1:30 and 3:00 PM)

More music by the Fine & Dandy String Band! (2:15 and 4:00 PM)

There will also be several displays like old-fashioned corn shelling, eye-catching quilts, vintage tractors, a 1911 Cushman engine, and more!
Schedule:
12:15 – 1 PM – The Rich O’Brien / David Hynes Project (Jam band duo) gets the music started on the front porch of the Ensor farmhouse.
1 – 4 PM – The museum buildings will be open for tours. Extra staff will be on hand to answer question and provide insight into the turn of the century farm and the life and times of the Ensor family.
1:00 – 1:30 PM – Uplifting Chautauqua-style oratory about the Ensor family, Olathe, and Johnson County.
1:30 – 2:15 – Pheasant Pluckers
2:15 – 3:00 – Fine & Dandy String Band
3:00 – 3:45 – Pheasant Pluckers
4:00 – 4:45 – Fine & Dandy String Band
Please check back for any schedule changes the day of the event!
There will be some picnic table seating on the front lawn, but it is suggested that you bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the music.
