Ensorfest ’26

What’s happening at Ensorfest ’26:
Explore the vintage 1890 farmhouse, where the Ensors’ legacy comes alive. From antique furniture to radio transmitters, every corner tells a story!
Quilt display presented by the Olathe Quilters Guild.
Check out a variety of antique Model A’s, Corvettes, Cadillacs, A WWII Jeep, an Emergency Communications van, and other classic vehicles on display.
Meet “Dot” and “Dash” – two Angora goats from the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm.
Explore works from The Olathe Art Gallery and learn about local artists.
Listen to the Chautauqua orators edify us about local history.
Work up an appetite playing disk golf on the 2-hole Maverick Disk Golf course.

Live Music Throughout the Event:
The Neon Quartet (Jazz Combo) performs from 12:00 to 1 PM.

Featuring live bluegrass and old time music by the Pheasant Pluckers: (1:30 and 3:00 PM)

There will also be several displays like old-fashioned corn shelling, eye-catching quilts, vintage tractors, a 1911 Cushman engine, and more!
Schedule:
Noon – 1 PM – The Neon Quartet (Jazz Combo) gets the music started on the front porch of the Ensor farmhouse.
1 – 4 PM – The museum buildings will be open for tours. Extra staff will be on hand to answer question and provide insight into the turn of the century farm and the life and times of the Ensor family.
1:00 – 1:45 PM – Uplifting Chautauqua-style oratory about the Ensor family, Olathe, and Johnson County.
2:00 – 2:45 – Pheasant Pluckers
2:30 – 3:00 – Disc Golf Clinic at the Maverick 2-hole disc golf course set up just for Ensorfest! No experience necessary, learn how to play!
3:30 – 4:15 – Pheasant Pluckers
Please check back for any schedule changes the day of the event!
There will be some picnic table seating on the front lawn, but it is suggested that you bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the music.
