Ensorfest ’25 — May 10, 2025
In 2025 we welcomed “Dot” and “Dash” – two Angora goats from the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm. Also new this year was the Cadillac Club of Kansas City and WWII Jeeps. This year we had a full day of music from the Pheasant Pluckers, Fine & Dandy String Band, and the Rich O’Brien / David Hynes Project. In the spring of 2025 the City of Olathe had hired a crew do to considerable upkeep renovations on the outside of many of the structures on the property – some of this work was still ongoing when Ensorfest ’25 took place.
Ensorfest ’24 — May 11, 2024
The 2024 event featured cars from the Modal A and Corvette clubs, a Chautauqua oratory, and live bluegrass music from the Pheasant Pluckers.
Ensorfest ’23 — August 12, 2023
The inaugural Ensorfest — “Ensorfest 23” was promoted as “Celebrating 100 years of amateur radio on the Ensor Farm” since the radio station at the farmhouse was assigned the call sign 9BSP in 1923. This large-scale community event featured a number of displays and activities such as disc golf, Model A cars, corn-shelling, a quilt display, and live bluegrass music.
